It's been a long time since I've taken a clear portrait of myself. Seemed like every day was a good day to hide. Mostly how tired I look, an exhaustion that sank into my bones a while ago and will take a while to go away. I'm going through a transitional phase in my life, so much has happened just this year. I'm embracing it all. This is who I am now. I found new love and with the new light, there is young hope. I might have changed, but I think my eyes glow just as brightly as I remember. I'm inspired to create again after so many years, poetry, painting, like never before. It brings me such joy that I can express myself like that. At the same time, what a wonderful thought it is that some of the best days in our lives haven't happened yet.
